I find it's always those days that I get a lot of male attention. And the reverse is also true: if I try to look nice because I need the self esteem boost of boys holding doors for me and grabbing my ass, no one looks at me.

Same thing for me. Days I figure I'm looking like ass I get hit on, days I dress up no one even looks twice. Maybe it's the attitude you give off on those days rather than the clothes themselves.

Hey, a lot of people like the hair in braids look. And besides, speaking as one who is 36 (and therefore, not too far from 38) - 38 can't be anywhere close to middle aged - nope, it just can't be. But you know, maybe Beth is on to somethng. It's the days we DON'T try, that we don't put in the extra effort, that we look our best. We don't look "done" or frou-frou-y - we just look natural, relaxed. Or for a lot of people, natural and relaxed = happy...and maybe THAT'S what the guys are responding to? Just a thought...I'm in a bit of a "Vicki, would you PLEASE shut up" mood today (meaning I'm WAY too chattery) So yeah, I'm shutting up now ::grins::

but my attitude is I'm a toad don't look at me. Maybe the boys really want to date toads?

Hmmm....maybe they think you'll turn into a fairy princess (ummm...not that I am AGREEING that you are toad like....)(SHUT UP, Vicki, just SHUT UP)

Maybe boys are just stupid and mistake toad for "wants to give me lots of blow jobs".
